The Youth Change Agent™ Certification prepares participants to build meaningful, responsible, and development-centered relationships with young people.

Drawing from Making the Transition, Inc.’s work with more than 100,000 youth, this certification teaches participants to look beyond visible behavior, recognize the conditions and influences affecting young people, maintain accountability, build trust, and respond with greater understanding, consistency, and purpose.

Participants will examine how their education, professional knowledge, community experience, faith, family roles, and learned lived experience shape the way they see and respond to youth. The certification is especially grounded in the realities, strengths, challenges, and experiences of Black and Brown youth and Black and Brown communities.

Through online lessons, cohort discussions, private reflections, live workshops, behavioral analysis, practical application, and feedback, participants will develop the knowledge, judgment, self-awareness, and applied readiness required to serve as a Youth Change Agent™.

Completing the course activities does not automatically guarantee certification. Participants must demonstrate preparation, participation, understanding, accountability, development, and the ability to apply what they have learned responsibly.
